I did manage to finish it
I finished the story. I still have to give it the once-over and email it but it is done: only time will tell if it is any good, though (or at least if Paul tells me that it is any good, since he is the editor). Something just does not feel complete about the story but there is a deadline, so...

Paul hasn't sent any word. He'd been alerting the group as to who submitted to the anthology, but not since a couple of days bafore I finished and sent it to him. I hope he's okay; he's usually a regular contributor to the group.
Why is Blogger giving me so many problems today? I can not post a new message and it's giving me the *cringe* white screen of death when I try to navigate.
